I am currently working as a research fellow at the Medical Genetics Unit of the Gaslini Institute under the leadership of Professor Federico Zara. Our mission is to advance the understanding of gene discovery and uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying rare neurodegenerative disorders in pediatrics. We work on identifying novel genetic variants associated with these conditions.

As a member of the Rapid Response Team for Infectious Diseases at the Pasteur Institute of Iran, our mission is to contribute to the rapid investigation of disease outbreaks and emergency response operations. We collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct epidemiological studies, identify pathogens, and assess the spread and impact of infectious agents. My role involves deploying rapid diagnostic tools, conducting field investigations, and providing data-driven insights to inform public health strategies. Our goal is to mitigate the effects of infectious disease outbreaks and contribute to national and global health security through timely and effective intervention.

The Department of Internal Medicine and Medical Specialties (Di.MI) was founded in 1991 , representing from the beginning a very complex reality in terms of scientific-disciplinary sectors and medical operating units in which three inseparable institutional activities are combined which have the mission to generate biomedical culture: scientific research, educational commitment and medical assistance .
